Marion County Progress
Welcome to Marion County Progress, Inc., the private sector arm supporting Marion County Economic Development Commission. Marion County Progress was created by business and professional leaders throughout the county to provide private sector support and leadership to the county’s economic development program. The mission of Marion County Progress is to promote, implement, and support activities designed to improve the economy of Marion County and advance a quality climate for business and industry in Marion County.
Marion County Progress has over 100 members, consisting of businesses, industries, professionals, and individuals that are genuinely interested in improving the quality of life in Marion County. The members believe that by creating development and job opportunities, there is a positive multiplier effect on all segments of the economy.
The members have priority contact with businesses locating and expanding in Marion County. They are also recommended to prospective and new companies as preferred vendors.
We have a magnificent product to sell. Companies locating here benefit from a business-friendly environment, a well-developed and reliable infrastructure, exceptional higher education and technical institutions, and a cultural of hard work and collaboration.
